How to Save $2,200 on your Cellphone Bill-Republic Wireless Review

Saving $2,200 on cell phone service is nothing to sneeze at. My family was able to do this by moving our cell phone service to Republic Wireless. If you are paying more than $20 a month for your current cell phone bill then this review is particularly for you.  So, you never heard of this company before? I hadn’t either until I ran across an ad for the service. I began to dig a little deeper to see if this was a good deal or a deal too good to be true.  As a family of four our NEW monthly service cost is $70 plus tax for 4 lines of service, (all lines include unlimited talk & text) versus the $260.00 plus tax we used to spend with one of the top cell phone carriers (hint: can you hear me now?)  Republic Wireless has cell phone plans as low as $15 a month.

After joining as a customer and enjoying my service, I decided to join as an affiliate. I wanted to promote the service and share the benefits of saving so much on my cell phone service with my friends and family. This review is 100% my opinion regarding service provided by Republic Wireless. If you don’t want to read my opinion I understand BUT if you still want to try the service or get more information head over to the Republic Wireless website directly. Now that we have that out of the way…

The prices seem too good to be true, what’s the catch?

I agree the price is too good to be true BUT it truly is true.  Their prices have been consistently low. When the company launched they announced the lowest monthly subscription would be $19 per month, that has since dropped to $15 per month currently. This is not a bait and switch service, they will not raise the price after you sign up. I know this because I waited over a year after having service to do this review just for that reason (I want to provide you guys the best review possible.) Below are some of the other perks that come with service from Republic Wireless.

How can they offer all this and still pass on low prices?  Republic Wireless phone plans use hybrid calling. This means that wi-fi networks are used as the primary data and connectivity source to the network, while the cellular network is used as a failover if no wi-fi networks are in range of the device. (  When you use your cell phone when you are out, your phone will use whatever wi-fi network available; then use the cell towers as backup so that you have NO interruptions in service.  Wi-fi is EVERYWHERE these days! Offering service this way is how Republic Wireless is able to provide both cheap and reliable service equivalent to the top cell phone service providers.

Oh my gosh! I can’t find any Wi-fi!

No need to panic, your phone will STILL work just fine.  Instead of using wi-fi it will connect to one of the available (Sprint or Verizon) cell towers respectively. Your phone will function at it’s normal capacity with Republic Wireless. When you are on a call and you lose wi-fi coverage the service will seamlessly move over to the cell towers with no interruptions.  You also have the option to manually switch your phone off wi-fi to the cell towers or vice versa.  Still have doubts…?

How much are these cell phone plans anyway?

Cell phone plans start at $15 per month. You read it correctly, CELL PHONE PLANS START AT $15 PER MONTH.  This plan gives you unlimited talk/text/data over wi-fi only.  That’s amazing when you think about it.  Then, the plans increase by price increments of $5 per GB of LTE data. For example: the $20 (plus tax) plan comes with 1 GB of data, the $25 (plus tax) plan would come with 2 GB of data and so on. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PLANS AND PRICES.

Will I have to buy a new phone?

Absolutely not!  There are several phones that can be moved over to the Republic Wireless service. Check the Republic Wireless website to see if your phone is able to be moved. If not, you can purchase a refurbished phone from Republic Wireless or one like this one from eBay that can be used with the service. Prefer a new phone but don’t have a large amount of cash to purchase one?

Republic Wireless also has a finance plan to fit every budget (did someone say the magic word…budget) yes! Pay on your terms.

Qualified applicants may choose between 6-, 12-, and 24-month terms on purchases of $300.00 or more.

For purchases between $150.00–$299.99, 6-, 12-, and 18-month terms are available.

For purchases between $100.00–$149.99, 6- or 12-month terms are available.

For purchases between $50.00–$99.99, a 6-month term is available.

For purchases under $50.00, a 30-day term is available.

What if I currently have a contract with a cancellation fee?

With prices being as affordable as they are with Republic Wireless, even the largest of cancellation fees will still allow you room to save in the end.  For example:

A.) Cancellation amount (with current carrier)    $250.00  B.) Moto E  (cell phone with Republic Wireless) $129.00 (or cheaper)  C.) Monthly service (with 1 GB LTE data) $240.00  yearly ($20 x 12 months, this is cheaper then my previous monthly bill) Total Cost $619.00 That’s still a saving of over $1,500.00 in one year!!!

An extra $1,500 a year could go a l-o-n-g way. Family vacation, car repairs, savings or get out of debt! Keep your phone and your service and save even more the next year!

You don’t have to. Bringing your number over to Republic Wireless is as easy as 1-2-3! Now that you are all out of excuses make the switch. Use my affiliate link to get started!

My opinion…

I couldn’t be happier that we switched. I know my bank account appreciates it as well. Besides that, the service is just as reliable as my previous service. Its one thing to find something for cheap and then it suck, but that is not the case with Republic Wireless.  We went from $3117.60 (oh yea down to the penny) per year, down to $840 per year for four family members over the course of one year. Each line cost $65 plus tax (x4) with a major cell carrier, now my husband & I have the $20 plan with Republic and the kids each have the $15 plans with NO PROBLEMS. Crazy when you sit back and add it up right? I know people that pay even more than what my family used to pay each month without thinking twice. Imagine how much they could save. Imagine how much YOU could save. If you are ready to switch or need more information follow my link to GET STARTED WITH REPUBLIC WIRELESS NOW!
